The Friends of Valley Spur are looking for a new logo. If you are creative and want to try your hand at designing a logo for us, why not enter our contest? Here are the details:

• Logo should represent the four aspects of Valley Spur: Skiing, Snowshoeing, Mountain Biking and Hiking
• Logo should be comprised of no more than 4 colors
• Artwork must be original
• Logo would ideally be submitted as a vector image file, but could also be submitted in JPEG format or on paper
• Artwork and completed entry form must be received by November 9, 2009
• Winning entry will be announced on November 16, 2009 on our website, with further recognition in the Munising News and Alger County Shopper
• Winner will receive their choice of either one 2009-2010 Season Membership pass to the Valley Spur Ski and Mountain Bike Trail system or equal value gift certificate for dinner at the Brownstone Inn ($80)
• Entries can be sent by mail to: Friends of Valley Spur, PO Box 523, Munising, MI 49862 or by e-mail at: info@valleyspur.org but we must be in possession of your signed waiver form by the deadline for entry to be considered
