We are pleased to announce that the Youth Ski program started last season will continue for the 2011-2012 season! The Palomaki’s will be back again this year along with all our other wonderful volunteers to help get our youth on skis and out and enjoying the beautiful snow covered trails and slopes our great northern habitat provides us.

The program runs every Sunday at 1:00 p.m. starting in January for youth 18 and under. No equipment necessary. All is provided, though if you do have your own equipment please bring it! The program teaches both classic and skate ski styles. Parents are encouraged to join their children on the slopes. Equipment rental is available for adults. This program is free to all youth 18 & under.

The Valley Spur Youth Ski Program is funded entirely by your donations. We are reaching more youth than ever this year and are in great need for equipment and volunteers to help with the program. All donations are greatly appreciated! Donations can be brought to the lodge during regular hours of operation Thursday - Sunday 10am to 4pm during the ski season. If you don’t have any equipment, monetary donations of any amount would help us to purchase the equipment we desperately need.
